Requiring attachments for stage entry
Validate case attachments at run time to ensure that a case contains relevant files before it enters a stage.
- In the Explorer panel of Dev Studio, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
- On the Workflow tab, click Life cycle.
- Click a stage name.
- Click Validation.
- Click + Add required attachment to display a list of attachment categories that are supported by your case type.
- Select an attachment category from the list.
- Click Save.
At run time, your application displays an error if the case does not have at least one attachment in each of the required attachment categories.
