Adding a supporting process to a case
Supplement your case life cycle with a supporting process, to allow case workers to determine when additional processing is required in a case.
- In the Explorer panel of Dev Studio, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
- On the Workflow tab, click Optional actions if Life cycle is selected.
- In the Case wide actions section, click +Action.

Choose a supporting process.

To add a new process, click Process, and then replace the default label with descriptive text.

- Optional: To start the process when a case is created, select the Automatically start when this case starts check box.
- Click Save.
When a supporting process runs, it is inserted as a step in the current stage of the case.
