Removing a stage
Remove a stage when it is no longer relevant to the life cycle of your case type.
- In the Explorer panel of Dev Studio, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
- If you are removing an alternate stage, click Configure alternate stages in the Actions menu.
- On the Workflow tab, click Life cycle.
- Hover over the stage name.
- Click the Menu icon and then click Delete stage.
- Click Save.
Use the Records Explorer or Find Rules wizard to find and manually delete stage-related rules, because removing a stage does not delete the underlying rules that support it.
