Managing case history

Control which events are included in the audit trail of a case to improve history readability and reduce the volume of history records in your system.

Use any of the following techniques to manage the events in case history:
  • In the Audit note field for important steps in the case life cycle, provide a localized message. For more information, see Adding a step to a process.
  • Specialize the standard Work-.FilterHistory decision tree to control which steps in a process add information to the audit trail.
  • Specialize the standard Pega-ProCom.FilterHistory system setting to control which systems add information to the audit trail.
  • Update the auto generated [case type class].pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled when condition to control which cases include the case worker's geographic location.
